The Dovetail Cabin Tools 10 x 10 Dovetail Jig is designed for an 10″ square timber and a 1″ chink gap. This jig clamps on the end of the log and guides the chainsaw perfectly for a series of cuts to make a flawless dovetail. The jig utilizes wingnuts for fast and easy clamping on each log.

Each jig is made to accommodate a variance of +/- 1/4″ in the milled log.

Jig Comes with one set of bar guides.

FEATURES:

This long-eared critter is made from heavy-duty steel. Used as intended and stored appropriately, this jig will last more than a lifetime.

Inner rails allow for +/- 1/4 of log height and ensure accurate placement on the log. View holes increase versatility to use dimensional logs with rounded shoulders.

Dual-purpose: the bottom side is used to first make a perfectly straight end-cut, the jig is then refastened to the log to cut each side of the dovetail joint with the top guides.

Each jig is hand-made to order and may take up to 4 weeks to process.
