The Dovetail Cabin Tools dovetail jig is designed for building with logs that are milled 6 inches wide and is available in two different heights. This jig clamps on the end of the log and guides the chainsaw perfectly for a series of cuts to make a flawless dovetail. The jig utilizes wingnuts for fast and easy clamping on each log.
BAR GUIDES are required to use this jig. SOLD SEPARATELY.
FEATURES:
Made from heavy-duty steel. Used as intended and stored appropriately, this jig will last more than a lifetime.
Inner rails ensure accurate placement on the log. View holes increase versatility to use dimensional logs with rounded shoulders.
Dual-purpose: the bottom side is used to first make a perfectly straight end-cut, the jig is then refastened to the log to cut each side of the dovetail joint with the top guides.
