The Dovetail Cabin Tools 6 x 8 Half Dovetail Jig Set is designed for a 6″ x 8″ timber, a 2″ chink gap, and a 2″ overhang. These jigs are marked for Right and Left. They clamp on each end of the log and guides the chainsaw perfectly for a series of cuts to make a flawless half dovetail. The jig utilizes wingnuts for fast and easy clamping on each log.

Each jig is made to accommodate a variance of +/- 1/4″ in the milled log.

Each Jig Comes with one set of bar guides, so two saws can notch at the same time.
