Package includes a metal Dovetail Jig and an Echo chainsaw fitted with the bar guides. This ensures you have no need for cutting or drilling to start using the dovetail jig. All you need is to add gas and oil to the chainsaw and you are ready to begin your dream home build.
DOVETAIL JIG
The Dovetail Cabin Tools dovetail jig is designed for building with logs that are milled to 6 inches wide and is available for 8 and 10 inch heights. This jig clamps on the end of the log and guides the chainsaw perfectly for a series of cuts to make a flawless dovetail. The chainsaw connects to the jig in a way that guides the cutting chain straight and without hitting the metal jig. The jig utilizes wingnuts for fast and easy clamping on each log.
ECHO CS-4920
The CS-4920 has proven to supply the power needed for rip cutting logs but it is still small and light enough for handy everyday use. It is nimble and has out performed the big brandnames and streamlined the dovetailing process.
It features a powerful 50.1 cc, 2-stroke engine but is the lightest saw in its class. With a purge bulb for easier starts and a momentary switch that returns to the “ON” position when the saw is shut off, the CS-4920 is simple to operate.
